After careful consideration by our Board of Trustees, weāve updated our loan eligibility criteria:
Non-Donors may apply for a personal loan of up to Ā£1,000.
Donors who have contributed to our cause for 12 months or more are eligible to apply for up to Ā£5,000.
All loans are repayable over 24 months, with no interest charged.

How Loan Application WORKS
CRITERIA
Am I eligible for an interest-free loan?
As much as we would love to help everyone, unfortunately, we have limited funds available and as such we are unable to accept applications for the following:
- Home Finance
- Business Finance
- Student Finance (except in certain circumstances).
- Money to be sent or used outside of the UK.
- Extravagant spending
Please Note: We do not provide loans for anything which goes against Islamic values i.e. Haraam, illegal and/ or unethical matters.
Following are the conditions for the loan:
- You are over the age of 18
- You are able to provide a valid guarantor
- You are able to provide proof of your income
- You have the right to remain in the UK indefinitely
- You have sufficient income to repay the loan from Ansar
- You agree to pay the Application Fee
Process
Step 1
Submit the completed application form along with ALL evidence of the reason for the loan.
Step 2
The loan panel will review and consider your application.
Step 3
If your loan is conditionally accepted you will be asked to make the application fee.
Step 4
Once all sufficient documents and information have been provided we will conduct financial and credit checks.
Step 5
Your guarantor will be sent a āGuarantee Agreement Formā to complete, sign and return to us.
Step 6
You will be contacted to discuss your loan application and repayments with us in a virtual interview format.
