Message From Chairman
Assalam-o-alaikum
It is my privilege to be associated with the Ansar Finance Group mainly due to the generosity shown by our community to enable Ansar to successfully complete its 25 years in operation. During my time at Ansar, I have been fortunate to have engaged with enthusiastic people within and I believe this is the foundation of its success. I would like to show my immense gratitude to our donors who have enabled Ansar to relieve members of our community from financial hardship. Also, it would not have been possible without the support of individuals who have sacrificed their time and expertise to advise Ansar time and time again. And to our amazing volunteers who have supported us when we needed it the most, no words can thank you enough.
Ansar has loaned over £4,000,000 in interest-free loans and has helped a staggering 1,250 applicants. These loans have helped families to break free from loan sharks, payday loans and other extortionate mainstream finance providers.
Our message is the same as it was 25 years ago:
“To raise awareness against Riba and provide interest-free financial solutions to our community”
Our plans are on a greater scale and I would very much appreciate your continued support to achieve our vision:

A Truly Interest Free Loan
Ansar – literal meaning ‘helpers’ in the Arabic language. This was the name given to the helpers of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) in Madinah. We aspire to take lessons from the ‘Ansar’ and bring them to life in the 21st Century. As a result, we have been providing life-changing support by means of granting interest-free loans, since 1994, as one of the first providers of Shari’ah based finance in the UK. We are an established and registered charity passionate about building a better financial future in the UK.
